Our planned itinerary at the moment would be, Depart Bathurst 0700 flying to Coonabarabran. The proposed route would be a combination of the following, Bathurst, Mudgee - 35 minutes approx., then onto Coonabarabran, eti 49 minutes, alternatively, Bathurst, Coonabarabran direct eti 82 minutes approx. For those flying from Orange, the combination would be, Orange, Dubbo eti 47 minutes, then onto Coonabarabran eti 39 minutes. For those flying direct Orange to Coonabarabran 90 minutes eti.

On landing at Coonabarabran we will be met by Mr. Ian Spicer, we will then travel via bus to a local Pottery Gallery, where it will be arranged that morning teas will be served. On leaving the pottery gallery we will travel onto Siding Springs Observatory, were we will be served Lunch.

The bus will then return us to Coonabarabran late Saturday afternoon, to enable us to freshen up at the Motel. Next door to the Motel is a Chinese Restaurant which is the best in town, were we will meet members of the Coonabarabran Aero Club for a Social Evening.

Sunday morning we will meet at the Aero Club and a brunch B-B-Q is arranged.

At the moment, depending on numbers, the cost inclusive of all of the above would be approximately $170.00, plus flying expenses.

Note that we have pre-booked our club aircraft VH-BAC for this weekend. If you wish to use it for the fly away please say so in your RSVP - first in first served!
