Weather permitting, this round of the flying competition will be held on an agricultural airstrip,
Wardell near Perthville. If the weather is not suitable for the use of Wardell, but suitable for
Bathurst Airport, then the competition will be held at the airport.
If the weather doesn’t look good on the day, please ring (63373310) the Club and check the location.
Make sure that you wear warm clothes. I am advised that there is no shelter at Wardell apart from your car.
Social Director, Peter Ticehurst, is organising a warm lunch to keep the frost out. Bring your own liquid beverages.

- Driving directions: Travel from Bathurst to Perthville along the Goulburn Road (Vale Rd),
go over the Railway line at Perthville and take the first turn right sign posted "Williams Lane"
and keep following along to the Main Homestead (Red roof) towards the Shearing Shed.
Markers will be placed along the track.
Also there is plenty of room for visiting aircraft as well for those wishing to fly in.
